Academic Support Resources

The first step for any student is to talk with their professor to get ideas about what they should be focusing their time and attention on. After that, there are a number of ways a student can get help. Listed below are some resources offered through the TRIO/SSS Program.

Step Up is an interactive program that aim to give students tools and skills to help them get organized, raise their GPA, stay in school and graduate. For more information, contact Margaret at sss@uvm.edu.

Tutoring is offered in a variety of classes by undergraduate students with extensive knowledge in the subjects they tutor. Free tutoring session each week.

Learning Skills tutors offer free sessions to help you take charge of your learning. Tutors will work with you to create a more efficient study system.

Free Online Study Tools are available for you to better manage your time and study effectively.

Course Registration help is offered to all SSS students. Active First and Second year students can meet with their mentor for help choosing and registering early for classes.

Veterans Support Website UVM Student Veteran Services is a part of the Division of Enrollment Management and is composed of the Veterans Assistance Committee (VAC), the School Certifying Official (SCO) / Coordinator of Student Veteran Services, and the Student Veterans Organization (SVO).
