Public protest in solidarity with nation-wide actions to close the U.S. Army School of the Americas.
(Training ground for Latin American dictators and death squads)
Since 1946, The U.S. Army School of the Americas at Fort Benning, GA. has trained over 60,000 Latin American Soldiers costing U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars a year. SOA graduates have gone home and committed atrocity after atrocity against their own people, including massacres of entire communities, assassinations, rapes, torture and "disappearances."
