Protesters from the Vermont Action Network and NFN stand outside of
the
new Old Navy store on Burlington, Vermont's Church Street Marketplace to
protest the use of sweatshops and child labor in the manufacture of
clothes. This September 26th action occurred simulatneous to dozens of
others around the world during "S-26", the inter- national festival
against Capitalism. Protests and riots also occurred in Prague in the
Cheque Republic on this day against meetings of the International Monetary
Fund.
