Calling all Reaganites, Naderites, and everyone in between!

Please consider attending a public debate about the FTAA on Tuesday night, April 17th at 7:30 pm in Marsh Life Sciences at UVM.

In light of the upcomming round of free trade talks in Quebec City, there has been much discussion about the advancement of the global free trade agenda and the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). The FTAA is a highly contentious issue that is worthy of scrutiny by both sides of the political spectrum.

In order to encourage a balanced understanding of the arguments on both sides, there will be a public debate between Economics Professor Stephanie Seguino and Debater Aaron Fishbone (on the left) and Business Administration Professor William Averyt and Debater Charles Hoag (on the right). The objective of the debate is to educate, so do attend regardless of how much you know about the issue.

Again: Tuesday, April 17, 2001, 7:30pm, 235 Marsh Life Sciences. The event is free and open to the public. All citizens of the world, are encouraged to attend.

See you there.
