Vermont Action Network (VAN) will be holding teach-ins troughout the state/region leading up to April.

The mailing list that is actually being used is called v-mgj

ACERCA is working on a series covering how free trade affects workers in this region.

Borders could very well be shutdown. Prepare to protest against the hypocrytical concept of "the free trade of goods, but not the free trade of people."

Vermont hotels, motels, inns, campgrounds, guest beds, floors and fields should be prepared to shelter protesters for whatever reason (turned away from border, car pooling, etc.

Quebec City is approximately 250 miles (5 hours) northeast of Burlington, Vermont.

Students, and local activists have been questioned by Campus Police, and officers of U.S. Customs Investigation department. Burlington Police has also taken an interest in the convergence.

Not the first time greed has spoiled democracy, freedom, human rights and the earth.
