Back in the mid-70's when I collected most of these patches, the thing to do was to sew them onto the back and sleeves of your puffy down parka and see how many you could collect. I got as many as I could...most of these were removed from that old parka.

The Mad River Glen patch saw the most use. Some places it lived were on a pair of denim shorts and then on a wool-lined olive-drab US Navy deck helmet liner I wore while skiing for several years.
