End Studio A will be exhibiting in October a group of Dan Higgins'
Puerto Cabezas photographs. Since the start of the sister city
relationship Dan's photographs have introduced both Nicaraguans and
Vermonters to their sister city counterparts. Some will remember the
dual portraits fro Dan's 1987 book, Sister
Cities: Side by Side. The photographs in this exhibition
include
scanned black and white negatives made in the 1990s as well as color
portraits made in recent years. Reception October 5th 5-7 PM.
On Thursday, October 18th, North End Studio A will present an evening of short video clips made in Burlington's sister cities of Puerto Cabezas, Yaroslavl, and Bethlehem/Arad.
