25th anniversary virtual video collaborations

The Burlington/ Puerto Cabezas Sister City program, in commemoration of its 25th anniversary, is producing virtual video collaborations connecting musicians, dancers, artists, poets and other creative Vermonters with their counterparts in Puerto Cabezas. Segments could begin with performances in either community, with people in the other responding with their talents. Musicians could engage with the work of other musicians, or dancers could interpret the same music in their own creative ways. Poets could respond to visual images, or visual artists could respond to poetry.
Video sequences shot at significant locations (downtown Burlington or downtown Bilwi, the waterfront in Burlington or the muelle in Bilwi, etc.) will provide background images of our two communities.
Video segments will be combined digitally, for presentation in a multi-screen format. Work will be uploaded to the Sister City web site as it is produced.
Any creative collaboration is welcome!
