Lake Champlain Sea Grant and Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education are hosting an opportunity to meet rice farmers and be a part of the discussion of rice farming in Vermont on 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, 6-7:30PM IN THE SILVER MAPLE BALLROOM ROOM 401, DAVIS STUDENT CENTER

  • Grow rice on unused, wet, sub-prime ag land
  • Diversify your farm with staple grain crop
  • Rice paddies mitigate flooding and prevent nutrient run-off into our waterways
  • Get valuable information and interact with others in the farming community
