Head Coach Justin Assad Named NEISA Coach of the Year

At last week’s NEISA awards barbeque following the new England Team Race Championships Justin received a unanimous vote for Coach of the Year from the other coach’s in New England.

Clinton Hayes 10’, Coco Solsvig 10’, and Christine Bletzer 09’ Named to All-NEISA

Following an exceptional regular season for Vermont, sophomores Clinton Hayes and Coco Solsvig were named first team All-NEISA. Coco is the only sophomore crew to receive this honor, while Clinton was one of two sophomores to receive this honor. Junior Christine Bletzer was named second team All-NEISA adding her name to a very short lsit of distinguished sailors.

Vermont Advances to ICSA National Championship

Led by Sophomores Clinton Hayes and Coco Solsvig's win in A division, the Catamounts charged to a third place finish in the ICSA National Championship Eastern Semi Final Regatta. Aside from qualifying for their first ever Spring Finals, this hardworking club team has established themselves as competitors for the title in June.
