Barre--Despite the wintry weather, April 14 was a super day for several 4-H'ers from Orange and Washington County 4-H clubs. For on this day they had an opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity on stage, through illustrated talks, fashion revue and more.

The annual event, known as Super Saturday 4-H Regional Day, was held at the Barre Town Elementary and Middle School. Emcees were Hayden Mabey and Alexis Taylor-Young, both from South Royalton. The Clever Clovers 4-H Club of Tunbridge handled registration and ran the concession stand.

The 4-H'ers were awarded blue, red or white ribbons for their entries, with the top blue-ribbon winners continuing on to 4-H State Day, May 12 in Barre, a premier University of Vermont Extension 4-H event featuring 200 outstanding 4-H'ers from throughout the state.
