New Trafficking Course Offered

Dr. Susan Ryan, Executive Director of the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion at the University of Vermont will teach a new course this spring semester titled Trafficking: Sex and Labor Trafficking of Human Beings. The course is designed to give students a better understanding of contemporary human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

A focus will be on understanding the scope of the problem, both domestically and globally. Students will learn how vulnerable populations, such as people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, are particularly at risk.

The class begins January 21, and will meet Thursdays, 4:35- 7:35 pm.  For more information download the course flier (pdf):
