UVM Department of Theatre Presents Spring Festival of Plays

The creative talents of the UVM Department of Theatre’s Class of 2013 are showcased with the annual presentation of the Spring Festival of Plays, running April 18-21 on the stage of the Royall Tyler Theatre.  The festival is the culmination of years of training and represents the final projects of the senior seminar class, under the instruction of Department Chair Gregory Ramos. This year’s festival comprises three unique programs, consisting of seven diverse performances which include two original works by members of the senior seminar Class, one full-length production and four adaptations of works by contemporary playwrights, all brought to life by the collaborative efforts of student directors, writers, designers and actors.

General admission tickets are $7 per group; with the purchase of two different groups, the third is free. Group A performs Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. Group B performs Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. Group C performs Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
