Business Savvy Prepares Your Student for Success
Summer Session Course
- By Continuing Education
No matter what your child’s major is – anthropology or animal science – he or she will need business savvy to succeed in life after college.
University of Vermont’s Business Savvy course equips non-business majors with the skills, know-how and experience they need to translate a liberal arts or science degree into a promising career. This 6-credit course takes place May 20 – June 14, 2013 as part of UVM’s Summer University.
BSAD 101: Business Savvy provides students with valuable career experience, business skills, networking opportunities – and a paycheck. In this intensive four-week summer program, your student will earn 6 credits; prepare for a paid internship; develop interviewing, business etiquette, and decision-making skills; and learn about job-search strategies, effective communications and team building.
Students connect with business professionals, develop career goals, and gain a basic understanding of accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, management and strategy. Register now while there’s still room: This popular program fills up quickly!
