Beynnon, Henry and Langevin Present at ECHO After Dark

A presentation titled “Conditioning Your Body: Sports Injuries, Back Pain and Yoga" was the focus of the May 3 After Dark OUR BODY Speaker Series presentation at 6:30 p.m. at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center in Burlington, Vt. The event featured the expertise of Bruce Beynnon, Ph.D., University of Vermont professor of orthopaedics and rehabilitation and sports injury specialist; Sharon Henry, Ph.D., UVM professor of rehabilitation and movement science, associate professor of orthopaedics and rehabilitation and low back pain specialist; and Helene Langevin, M.D., UVM professor of neurology, associate professor of orthopaedics and rehabilitation, and connective tissue specialist. The evening program included access to the OUR BODY: The Universe Within exhibit, refreshments from a cash bar, free hors d’oeuvres, an introduction to the evening's speakers, and two twenty minute “walk-and-talk” tours with speakers in the exhibit.
