The Farm to Plate (F2P) Initiative, approved at the end of the 2009 Vermont legislative session, directs the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, in consultation with the Sustainable Agriculture Council <http://www.uvm.edu/%7Esusagctr/?Page=susagcl.html> and other stakeholders, to develop a 10-year strategic plan to strengthen Vermont’s farm and food sector. Following an extensive information gathering stage, Farm to Plate staff are presently preparing a draft strategic plan (due June 30, 2010).
