What happens when you put them together? &lt;p&gt;For their innovative &quot;GreenSpeed&quot; hybrid gas/electric racing car, students from the University of Vermont's College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences won four prizes at the International Formula Hybrid Competition at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH, May 5-7, 2008. &lt;p&gt;</description>

      <title>Rizvi Named Honors College Dean </title>

      <description>Economics professor S. Abu Turab Rizvi has been appointed dean of the University of Vermont Honors College after serving as interim dean at the college since July 2007 and as associate dean since July 2005. Rizvi succeeds Robert Pepperman Taylor, who had been dean of the Honors College since its launch in 2003.  Rizvi will officially become dean on July 1, 2008. &lt;p&gt;	&quot;Abu has done an exemplary job as associate and interim dean of an academic unit that is of the highest strategic importance to the university,&quot; said John M. Hughes, UVM provost.&quot; He is a skilled administrator, a highly productive scholar, and an inspiring mentor dedicated to helping students succeed. We're very fortunate to have someone as talented as Abu in this position.&quot;	&lt;p&gt;	&quot;A particular highlight in my 20-year career at UVM has been working with the Honors College's students, faculty, staff, mentors, and partners,&quot; Rizvi said.  &quot;As the Honors College gets ready to graduate its first full cohort of students, and as we look forward to addressing collaboratively the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming years, I am delighted to be entrusted with the leadership of this vital contributor to UVM's academic excellence.&quot;   &lt;p&gt;</description>
