BURLINGTON, Vt. -- University of Vermont women’s hockey standouts Kristen Olychuck (Kelowna, British Columbia) and Caroline Donahue (Westwood, Mass.) recently received the team’s two annual awards, both selected by a vote of their teammates. Olychuck was honored with the team’s Most Valuable Player Award at UVM’s Rally Awards while Donahue picked up the Barbara Bates Award at the team’s breakup brunch at the end of the school year.

Catamounts Participate in MS Walk

BURLINGTON, Vt. – On April 26th several University of Vermont student-athletes participated in the MS Walk in Burlington. The UVM Student-Athlete Advisory Council (S.A.C.C.) and several teams joined in to support the cause. Together the S.A.C.C. group and the Vermont ski team have raised $2,400 for the MS Society.

2007-08 Results | Statistics | History/Record Book
The University of Vermont men’s basketball team finished the 2007-08 season with a 16-15 overall mark and went 9-7 in America East play, as the Catamounts earned the fourth seed for the America East Championship. After knocking off host Binghamton in the quarterfinals, Vermont fell to top seeded and eventual champ UMBC in the semifinals.

BURLINGTON, Vt. – University of Vermont softball senior Rachelle Eloschuk (Calgary, Alberta) and freshman Caroline Goddard (Oakland, Calif.) were both honored by the America East at the league’s season-ending awards banquet on Wednesday night. Eloschuk earned second team all-conference honors and was named to the league’s all-academic team as well, while Goddard earned a spot on the all-rookie squad.

It was the regular season finale for the Catamounts who finish the season 14-27 overall and 7-14 in league play.
