Self-Paced Training

Welcome to this self-paced training for Conservation Biology and Modeling. You will be introduced to a variety of conservation principles and modeling modules that have guided natural resource issues in recent years.

The instructors are Dr. James (Jed) Murdoch , Assistant Professor at the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, University of Vermont, and spreadsheet modeler Dr. Therese (Terri) Donovan.

Each module consists of lectures, spreadsheet exercises, and a scenario to check your modeling skills.

This course was developed in collaboration between the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, National Training Center and the Vermont Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.
