Charlie's blue bees!

Today Charlie and his Bee-team (Melissa Moldovan, Paige Carncross, Kristian Moore, and Katie Burns) started his experimentats on the "Circe Principle," that pollinators such as bees move more slowly through resource rich areas than through resource poor ones. Testing this principle is important to understanding whether pollinator enhancements act as sources or sinks of native bees, and how bees respond to big resource pulses such as blueberry blooms.

Perhaps coolest of all, Charlie and his team are tracking bee movement by puffing them with FLUORESCENT BLUE POWEDER!

Way to be awesome guys...
