Charlie Nicholson joins lab as PhD student
Working on pollination services to VT's food system

Charlie Nicholson has arrived at UVM to start his PhD in the lab. Charlie's interested in the delivery of pollination services to Vermont's farms and food system. He aims to understand the crop production benefits provided by native pollinators, particularly native bees.
Charlie has a degree in Biology from Skidmore, and has been working at the Carey Institute and U.Penn's arboretum for the last couple of years. He's also been volunteering in the field this summer as we have started up pollination projects. That apparently did not scare him off...
