The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont is recognized in the current online issue of Insight Into Diversity for its Master of Science concentration in Leadership for Sustainability (MSLS). The article highlights institutions with programs that emphasize the importance of engaging all groups in the environmental movement.
Students in the MSLS program learn about and develop leadership skills that enable them to work across difference in a curriculum that connects diversity, power, privilege, and environmental perspective. This two-year, low-residency program designed by director and senior lecturer Matt Kolan, draws mid-career professionals from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, industries, and professional experiences around the country.
