January 28 - Earth in Peril: Leaders Needed
A Student Perspective on Challenges and Leadership Needs for the 21st Century

Students in NR 199, RSENR Stewards, RSENR RGSA, RSENR SAB

The current life expectancy for a Vermonter is 80 years. Assuming that life expectancies won't increase further, this means that our 18 year old student will live to 2076. Our exercise conscious, local/health food oriented students will probably live closer to the end of the century. What changes will they see in this time period and what prospects do they see for this future?

The goal of this session is to hear students voices about their future. What are the big challenges, how do they feel about this, and what solutions do they want to pursue in their next 60 years?

Come hear their stories...

Moderator: Deane Wang, Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources
