We firmly believe that global climate change is a real threat to human society and nature. To responsibly address this issue, we began an initiative in 2006 to reduce our collective carbon output. We evaluated our existing carbon emission set goals for reducing it through a series of community actions and institutional incentives, including strategies of purchasing "carbon credits" and creating offsets both on and off of Rubenstein School properties. Through collective action, Rubenstein School faculty, staff, and students can both learn about and contribute to meeting this fundamental challenge of our times. |
