Ecological Planning Class of 2004
- Kendra Schmiedeskamp
Kendra recently moved to Vermont from Oregon, where she worked for a forest advocacy non-profit and The Nature Conservancy. Kendra studied environmental policy at the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment. Her interest in both natural history and policy led her to the Ecological Planning Program.
Brooke comes to the EP program from mid-coast Maine, where she spent four years researching international energy policy for a nonprofit, writing and editing a quarterly journal for educators in the Gulf of Maine watershed for an environmental education foundation, and farming. She attended Oberlin College where she was a double major in English and geology. Through the EP program, Brooke hopes to develop land conservation solutions that integrate thinking across disciplines.
