    Tom comes from Massachusetts, where he spent his time mucking through vernal pools, observing wildlife, and writing wetland-related permit applications. He comes to the Ecological Planning Program to understand ecology's relationship to environmental policy.


  • Mary Tess O'Sullivan Mary Tess O'Sullivan
    Tess comes to UVM after working as an outdoor educator in Seattle, Rhode Island, and Colorado. She also spent two years advocating sustainable forestry with a focus on the health of rural communities in Northern California and Washington, D.C. Tess graduated from Yale University in 1995 with a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies. She is an avid trail runner and cross country skier.
