ENSC 1 is designed for students interested in learning how the environment works. It will introduce you to the environmental sciences, explore how humans affect ecological systems, and demonstrate how scientific knowledge and principles can help solve environmental problems..

Course Description
We’ll meet from 1:15 to 2:30 PM in Room 101 Stafford. On many Tuesdays we will have a guest scientist for part of the class session. On Thursdays we will have a more interactive class period where you will individually and small groups work on your understanding of environmental science concepts and analyses, and develop your skill in thinking about environmental systems.
