RSENR Stewards Update – December 2013
- By Katie Stoner
Happy winter, Rubenstein community!
As winter break approaches, the Rubenstein School Stewards are reflecting on a successful fall semester and looking forward to the coming spring. Fall semester was full of tours for visiting parents, prospective students, and groups interested in learning about the unique features of the Aiken Center.
Fall Fest was a great success as we brought the Rubenstein community together to enjoy donuts and cider and to launch the “We Are Rubenstein” campaign. The “We Are Rubenstein” campaign is a collaboration between the Rubenstein Stewards and the Diversity Task Force to represent the Rubenstein community. Students answered a questionnaire and posed for pictures that will be used to create a project displaying the diversity of the Rubenstein School.
Lastly, we hosted Rubenstein’s “Get Your Life Together Week” in mid-November to offer students resume advising, job information sessions, and internship and graduate school panels.
Keep an eye out for “Get Your Life Together Week: The Sequel” this spring. In spring 2014 we hope to offer frequent resume drop-in hours, sell new Rubenstein shirts, and more!
Good luck to all seniors graduating this December! We will be saying goodbye to one of our graduating stewards, Chloe Hundertmark (ENSC ’14). Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, creativity, and leadership, Chloe! We will miss you next semester and wish you luck in your future adventures!
We wish everyone a fantastic end to the semester and a happy winter break!
