The RSENR Seminar Series kicked off this fall with four weeks of “Faculty Quick Talks,” during which professors in the school were put up to a daunting challenge: talk for only 15 minutes. Sixteen faculty members responded to the call, and presented on their research to a crowd of students and colleagues in the Aiken Center. Highlights included grad school pictures, the revelation of secret athletic prowess, budding book ideas, and insights into what gets RSENR faculty members out of bed in the morning.

Thanks go out to all of this fall’s quick talkers: Carol Adair, Breck Bowden, Cecilia Danks, Clare Ginger, Jeffrey Hughes, Adrian Ivakhiv, Stephanie Kaza, Bill Keeton, Walter Poleman, Jennifer Pontius, Taylor Ricketts, Paul Schaberg, Allan Strong, Brian Voigt, Kimberly Wallin, and Beverley Wemple.

This year's fall seminar series is coordinated by RSENR doctoral students Monika Derrien and Chris Clement.

The remaining weeks of the seminar feature speakers from further afield, every Thursday from 4:15-5:15 in Aiken 102.
