RSENR Stewards Semester Update

Where has the time gone? Spring semester 2013 is flying by with thoughts of summer plans and beyond resting on the minds of many students already.  So far, it has been an active and enjoyable time for the Stewards. Firstly, we are proud to have Colleen Whitcomb and Robyn Bath-Rosenfeld back to the program after semesters abroad. Their experience and extra hands have been a benefit to us and all of our endeavors.

To begin we hosted a more formal internship panel and resume workshop where students spoke about their experiences outside of the classroom. Tours and Admitted Student Days have also been picking up and we have been lending a hand in showing the future incoming classes why the Rubenstein School is a great place to learn. Planning for the community celebration is also under way. If anyone is eager to join the ranks we would be glad for the extra assistance.

We continue to plan helpful and merry events for the school. Community lunches have been and will continue to occur on the second Wednesday of each month. So pack your lunch and keep your eyes open. New Rubenstein t-shirts will be on sale soon, and we are still selling juice glasses, stickers and the old t-shirts.  Also, every Wednesday our office is home to resume and cover letter workshops. If you find yourself in the mindset of thinking about this summer and want an extra eye to look over your resume and coverletter, do not hesitate to stop by the Stewards office outside of the Dean’s suite on the second floor of Aiken.

Sincerely,
The Rubenstein Stewards
