Postdoctoral Associate Laura Anderson to Join Faculty at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point

Laura Anderson has been a postdoctoral associate in the RSENR Park Studies Lab for the past few years but will be leaving at the end of December to join the faculty at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Laura came to UVM to help organize the International Symposium on Society and Natural Resources that was held at UVM in 2008.
Over the past few years, she has worked on a number of research projects in the Park Studies Lab. She helped lead several projects including one of the Signature Projects funded by the UVM Transportation Research Center, a project funded by the Sea Grant Program, and an assessment of the experimental transit system that serves Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and the town of Woodstock, Vermont.
Laura has co-authored a number of papers while a part of the Park Studies Lab and co-authored a book with Professor Bob Manning titled Managing Outdoor Recreation: Case Studies in the National Parks.
Laura will be a part of the Forestry Program at Stevens Point, and will teach courses in forest recreation and related topics.
