Working at UVM ARC

Facilitating at UVM ARC is fun, stimulating and rewarding. Our facilitators are drawn to this work by many things: a beautiful work environment, a flexible schedule, thoughtful coworkers, and unique programs. Facilitators are constantly challenged to acquire new skills, learn new games and initiatives, help people find deeper meaning and connect the dots.

For those who intend on working with us we offer free facilitator training. No previous experience is necessary, but previous teaching, outdoor, group management and/or facilitation experience is preferred. Anyone wishing to attend the training should submit a cover letter and resume to Megan Meinen at

New Staff Training 1: April 9th, April 23rd and 24th
All trainings will be held from 9 – 4 pm at the UVM ARC in South Burlington, VT.

Have past experience facilitating at a challenge course? Please send Megan your cover letter, resume, and facilitation log if you are interested in working with us and we will figure out what the right training plan is for you!
