UVM is creating a home for alumni and friends of the university by renovating the interior of a Queen Anne Revival-style house on campus and creating an adjoining pavilion for receptions and other events. This new Alumni House will offer a variety of programs that reinforce UVM graduates’ lifelong relationship with the institution, from educational, cultural and artistic activities to social and reunion events.
The Alumni House at 61 Summit Street project involves a complete renovation of the interior spaces and construction of a new 2600 square-foot events pavilion addition. The construction of the new events pavilion addition to the house is designed to accommodate 150 person occupancy. The renovation to the existing house will create a main floor dedicated to public and events spaces, a second floor with a combination of public, events and support spaces and a third floor offering secure operation and office spaces for Foundation staff.
