First-Year Residence Hall

A new residence hall for first-year students will be located in the center of the academic campus adjacent to classroom buildings and academic facilities, including the Bailey/Howe Library and the STEM complex. Opening August 2017, the new residence hall, featuring popular amenities and a convenient location, supports first-year student success. The traditional style residence hall will have a 450-seat dining hall, a bridge/connector to Bailey/Howe Library, seminar rooms to create a living/learning environment, a fitness center and a location on the Green Mountain Walkway, which traverses campus.

Alumni House: UVM is creating a home for alumni and friends of the university by renovating the interior of a Queen Anne Revival-style house on campus and creating an adjoining pavilion for receptions and other events. READ MORE
