UVM first-year students are required to read “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot. Unfortunately, Ms. Skloot’s schedule does not permit her to attend the convocation Ceremony.  She will, however, be on campus on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ira Allen Chapel to address the university community.
