UVM United Way Campaign Continues – Help Us Reach our Goal
- By Mary Provost
**Goal is $150,000 and 25% participation in our employee campaign**
The 2012 UVM United Way Campaign continues, and we are working hard to reach our goal of $150,000. (You can check the progress of the campaign at our website.)
If you’ve already made your donation, please accept our sincere thanks. If you have not, please read on.
The United Way is the only organization in this community that has a “bird’s-eye view” of the social fabric of this community and invests your donation in strategies and programs that address critical needs. The result is a strong network of services that provides help to people in time of need regardless of their ability to pay.
In addition to funding provided to member-agency programs that are core to the human service network in our community, United Way mobilizes the community to understand the root causes of our most pressing problems and invests in innovative and strategic partnerships for sustainable, lasting change. They make program investments and engage volunteers to improve people’s lives… one person or one family at a time.
We hope you will consider making a pledge today. Making your gift through payroll deduction is an easy, painless way to support our community.
You can find the pledge form here.
