Advancing the Vision 2004-2013: Financial Feasibility
Report
On May 22, 2004 the Board of Trustees unanimously endorsed the Long-Range Vision
and Strategic Financial Plan for the University of Vermont. In its resolution,
the Board, acknowledged with enthusiasm the articulation of a long-range vision
and the continuing development and implementation of the University Strategic
Plan 2003-2008. This report explains in detail the rationale for the Strategic
Financial Plan, the assumptions underlying the financial model, and the results
and implications of the Financial Feasibility Study. See also the Executive

is not only the best, but in fact the only workable mechanism to carry our very
