January 18, 2017 - UVM Police Services is offering R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) self-defense classes for UVM women again this spring semester. The course is free and is open to all women at UVM, but registration is required. For more information and the full schedule, click here. Classes start on February 13, 2017. November 30, 2016 - UVM Police Services is collecting donations of toys as part of Operation Fire Cuffs 2016. On December 15, all of the toys will be delivered to The University of Vermont Children's Hospital. You can drop off donations of new, unwrapped toys at UVM Police Services at 284 East Avenue. UVM Police Services officers will soon be wearing Body Worn Cameras (BWC). You may also see officers in black vests, which are new carriers for equipment that has traditionally been carried on a belt.
