South Burlington has changed significantly since the 1850s when the first publicly accessible photographs, known as Daguerrotypes, offered people a new medium to catalog their place. Each dot in the map below.
Many of the old photos and rephotographs were collected and taken, respectively, by students from the Vermont Commons Schools, through generous support from the Vermont Historical Society.
