Phenological Observations of the Shelburne Landscape

Observation: I saw a preying mantis, a tree without any leaves and a chipmunk with cheeks full of food.

Observation: Milkweed is turning yellow, the leaves are crumbling and it is starting to die.

Observation: Red clovers are turning brown, birds are flying south

Observation: Milkweed almost all yellow and the pods are producing sticky milk. A lot of burrows groundhog burrows in the tall grass.
