Observation: I noticed that the New England Aster flower used to be a purple flower with a yellow middle. But now it's dead and looks like white pom poms, they are also soft and feathery. The berries that are blue were dead wrinkled and crumpled, and there were not very many of them left. Also there were 2 small white flowers the size of pennies, but by the time we made our reobservations they were dead and wrinkly. All the plants at Davis Park, don't have much color, and it is all very bare.

Observation: Today I went to go examine a bush that I have been using to study. The second time I saw this I thought it was a Buck Thurm, but when a freind of mine said that this is a Dog Wood the reason you can tell it is a Dog Wood, he showed me a cool trick that when you split it in half the roots hang on the other part of the leaf. The color of that berry was a very dark blue, the shape was like a very small circle, the size was very small, and the texture was very wrinkely just like a grape to a leaf.

The grass has alot of dew on it.Also you could only here a couple of birds because alot of birds have flown south already.
