Observation: When we were back at Davis Park we noticed that there was a lot of dried leafs, most of the plants looked dead but they weren't, you could see beyond the tree line into the field behind it. We have been observating some plants since the beginning of September. One of the plants is the Blue Dog Wood. The Dog Wood changed because there was blue berries on it and when we looked at it in September the berries were a really pretty color blue now there are bearly even there. And the leaves were yellowish with some brown spots, you could brake the stems really easily, the plant looked dead but it was really a sleep, the stems were sort of red. The Red Dog Wood was another plant we obsvering for a while. We noticed that is looked almost dead but it was really alive. Some of the grass around it was brown, the dead leaves were curling around the stem, leaves were yellowish, there weren't very many berries leff. We also noticed that most of the creatures that we saw before were gone and there wasn't very many birds around, but when they did churp it was pretty loud. The Aster Flower was another plant we were obsvering. The purple flowers on it were gone or crimpled up, the leaves were rapping around the stem and it looked dead. A lot of the trees were bear also. |
