Phenological Observations of the Shelburne Landscape

Observation: The tree is almost completely bare I have also have identified the tree to be a gray birch plus I found little green bugs feeding on the leaves.

Observation: In the woods I saw that all the leaves in the woods were all gone because all the frost and when the frost came in the woods the leaves would split and the frost melted and then the leaves fell off.

Observation: gray birch lost most of its leaves, wich allows you to see the trunk. The pine trees shed some of its leavs. The swamps dont have as much duck weed. Pinecons are opening.

Observation: Most of the plants are dead. All the ivy is gone the mud is hard the leaves have fallen.

Observation: The pine trees are starting to shed the needles but they do not shed all at the same time so they always have neddles on them.
