Phenological Observations of the Shelburne Landscape

Observation: Flock of 9 Canada geese flying southwest and landed in the cornfield

Observation: I found a Birch Tree and the tree itself was about two and a half stories high. The leaves were about three inches in length and two inches in width. The shape of the leaves were in some sort of triangle. The leaves felt dry but still a little moist and it also felt rough. The colors of the leaves were green and yellow

Observation: Poison ivy leaves are green and their stems are short and it makes your skin itchy when you touch it. And most poison ivy leaves are different sizes.

Observation: the tree by the tennis court also known as a big toothed aspen had leaves changing colors on the top from green to yellow the leaves also felt greasy. the tree was big 40 to 50 feet high.

Observation: I found a Birch Tree and the Tree was about two and half stories high. The week before all the leafs were green and when we went back one week ago ther yellow and green. The shape of the leaf is about 3 inches long. The texture was smooth but dry with a little moist.
