Phenological Observations of the Shelburne Landscape

Observation: One tree with no leaves. Some lambs resting in the shade. A spider's nest on a green leaf. In the forest, there are more green leaves. A puff ball that smells like maple syrup.

Observation: Bees are out collecting pollen for the winter.

Observation: Praying mantis, spider's nest, lots of mushrooms, red backed salamander under a rock, i noticed that plants were dying.

Observation: Saw a large swarm of birds flying together, landing in a tree, and then taking off again up Dorset St.

Observation: I was eating popcorn when I noticed a lime green bug with a yellow stripe down it's back. It was about a centimeter long not including antenas. It had six legs.
