The Park Studies Lab, in conjunction with the Vermont Tourism Data Center, will be conducting a new, two-year program of research for the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing. This program of research is designed to help inform growth and management of the state's tourism economy. This year's research will focus on surveys of visitors to the state's welcome centers, twenty-five state parks, and several of the state's most visited tourist attractions. This program of research will be guided by Lisa Chase of UVM Extension and the Vermont Tourism Data Center and Bob Manning and Bill Valliere of the Park Studies Lab.
