Andy is the administrative assistant at UVM's Department of Music. She is from the California Bay Area, where she worked as a bookseller, marketing assistant, IT administrator, farmers' marketeer, and video game store manager.

She was the musical director of Acquire A Cappella at the University of California - Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2010, and sang in that group for all four years of her undergraduate career. In 2015, she co-founded Pitchcraft, a community a cappella group in Burlington. She was delighted to sing with the Burlington Choral Society in 2016, and the UVM Foundation's Move Mountains Gala in 2019.

Her responsibilities at the Music Department include coordinating recitals and auditions, student recordkeeping, answering phone and e-mail inquiries, giving department tours, publicizing concerts, and performing web wizardry.
