Farm Food Safety Training with GAPs

Description: February 27 & 28
These workshops will help growers understand produce safety issues and Good Agricultural Practices as well as the FSMA proposed produce rule and third party audits. The second day will be devoted to writing farm food safety plans so that each participant can work on their own farm plan. These workshops are sponsored by the National GAPs Program, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cornell University, Produce Safety Alliance, and the New York State Department of Ag & Markets with funding from the Genesee Valley Regional Market Authority.
