  • What our students have to say...

I chose the MMG department when I signed up to UVM and it asked me to choose a major. I looked through the list of majors and thought it sounded cool. Turns out I made a great decision! The MMG department is a relatively small department in the UVM. I loved having this small setting in a large school. I am pre-dental and almost all of the pre-health requirements are included in the MMG department requirements. I was able to take cool labs where we were taught valuable skills such as Introduction to Recombinant DNA technology. Although this is a rigorous major there are definitely opportunities for abroad or other unique experiences. You can make your experience in the MMG department what you want it to be and I really liked that. In my time at UVM I was able to be involved in many extracurriculars as well as live abroad for several months and run a nonprofit. In the MMG department you will receive a great education and can make time to do the other things you want to do too. Not to mention you become very close with the other students in your year. Join the MMG department for awesome faculty, a great education, unique experiences, and amazing friends.
