• What our students have to say...

My father has a quote: "When you have a dream you see the invisible, when you see the invisible, you do the impossible." My dream started the moment I walked into MMG department for a meeting with professor Douglas Johnson; I came out of that meeting convinced that I was in the right place - "it felt like home, accepted, and not judged." During the admission process, I insisted that he be assigned as my advisor without his knowledge, for reasons mere words alone cannot describe... MMG create a collaborative and engaging learning environment for everyone, which is an integral part of students' success. The professors are always available to assist and advice student in-person and via email, irrespective of who their academic advisor is. Each class I took in MMG pushed me to venture out of my comfort zone, strive harder and improve my self-confidence; now I'm graduating as Microbiology major with rewarding experiences and better equipped to continue my dream. I'm glad I made the decision and didn't look back!!!
